Talu is an abstract sculptural lamp, made from using the hand-building technique, coiling. This hollow bodied piece is comprised from a heavily heavily grogged clay with a dark speckled textural finish, when combined with the ivory glaze, the chemical reaction that occurs in the specialty reduction firing creates a truly unique and one-of-a-kind finish on the clay body, making no two lamp bases the same. The bulbous shape is reminiscent of the female form and plays with composition and balance.

Handmade on Gadigal land, Caitlin Robson designs is meticulously crafted by hand to form a cohesive tableware set, however no two shapes are identical, highlighting the handmade nature of the design and creating a truly unique setting for every table.
